Archos phone tablet has got a 4.3-inch touch screen with 854 x 480 resolution, a 1GHz ARM processor , but pretty powerful and a 10mm-thick shell and 3G connectivity. Size and specs-wise, it matches up to the Snapdragon- and Windows Mobile-powered Toshiba TG01. It’s purely a touch device powered by Android and will most likely leverage the work and eco-system that Archos has been working on with its other Android products and The Archos Phone Tablet will use a 1GHz ARM processor and the Android operating system.

The phone is somewhat large considering the iPhone has a 3.5-inch screen. . Archos’ Internet Media Tablet, with its powerful video capabilities and relatively large screen is a few inches closer to notebook territory.  It has integrated GPS receiver with 3D maps for navigation, which is quite good.

One of the biggest drawbacks is that it doesn’t allow the users to place calls, unless via VOIP over Wi-Fi. Some good features include high resolution, TV recording and HD video playback, video storage up to 500GB, and ultra flash support.it doesn’t support flash for watching Youtube but can be compelling if adobe issues an update for  flash 10 that works with ARM based processors.

The web browser is quite impressive with tabbed interface making it accessible to lots of users. It has 12 preloaded applications on this phone. It comes with 7 hrs battery life video playback. Multimedia plays a prominent role in this phone. Features a microSD expansion slot which allows more memory to be plugged in to a microSD expansion slot to allow more memory to be plugged in.
